A free web-based starter edition of Borg Fleet for small fleets (20 vehicles or less) helps to improve workflow while reducing costs, Borg Solutions said.

The program combines predictive maintenance, streamlined work orders, fuel and inventory management, resource allocation, repair scenarios and scheduling through real-time data collection and analytics into what the company calls an “artificial intelligence” approach to fleet maintenance.

According to the company, the hope is that as the smaller fleets grow, so will their needs, and they will move up to the more advanced versions of the software, which include more complex accounting and reporting practices.

“We are such firm believers that anyone can benefit from it,” COO Michelle Borg said, “we wanted to eliminate [the cost barrier].”
