Parts & Service:  Slim white lights hit market

Grote Industries has released two new versions of its SlimWhite Lamp. The 18-in. LED lamp provides 485 lumen of light output with six diodes, has a convenient on/off switch and is ideal for locations that require plenty of light but have limited mounting space. The 48-in. model has ten diodes and provides even lighting over large areas.
According to the company, the lamps’ low heat emissions virtually eliminate the threat of contact burns or radiant heat damage, and the cool operating temperature of each lamp reduces the heat load related to illuminating any interior work or storage space.

The lamps come in 12-volt configurations, however, the 18-in. lamp is also available in a 24-volt style. Designed to operate in temperatures of between -40 deg. F and 122 deg. F, both lamps are 1.25 in. wide and 0.75 in. thick.
