Tech in Trucking:  Reward safe drivers

A new online Response Center designed to reinforce and reward safe drivers has been launched by SmartDrive Systems.The center is a companion site to the company’s SmartDrive, which records, reviews and recommends responses for critical road events.

The online component also offers fuel consumption and operating expense assistance. It includes filters to help pinpoint events; integrated maps to identify problem regions; an improved coaching process; and health and coaching compliance reports to ensure the program’s success.

“The new Response Center is just the beginning,” said Greg Drew, CEO.

Existing customers of the SmartDrive Measured Safety Program have already been upgraded at no additional charge.
