Parts & Service:  Added glass protection

Additional protection for sheets of glass is now available for vehicles from myglasstruck.com.

The company’s aluminum offerings include integrated vertical rubber padding running from the top to the bottom of the carrier’s frame posts, providing additional protection for smaller pieces of glass that might extend above or below the carrier’s horizontal padding.

Underbody mounts connected to the chassis create a rigid surface to support the glass during transport, and aircraft-grade Huck locking mechanical fasteners that resist vibration secure all load-bearing connections, the company said.

Three T6-adjust-a-poles per side are now standard equipment, and the kit includes a self-assembly option for vans, pickups or Sprinter vans. A roof rack mounting system and fold-down glass cutting table with adjustable legs are optional.
