Parts & Service:  Alternative fuels DVD available.

Highlights of this year’s Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Conference + Expo 2009 are now available on DVD for just $79, the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVI) announced.

The annual DVD release includes videos of the keynote speakers and .pdf files of more than 100 presentations made during the conference.

Speakers included Growth Energy spokesman Gen. Wesley Clark; Deputy Mayor for the Environment, Los Angeles, S. David Freeman; and energy entrepreneur T. Boone Pickens.

Topics addressed during the conference included government funding and incentives, converting vehicles to run on alternative fuels, the promise of plug-in hybrid and extended range electric vehicles, and meeting EPA’s 2010 regulations.
