The Practical Cargo Securement, a 405-page resource guide for drivers, carriers, shippers and law enforcement, is now available from the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) Safety Management Council.
The book provides tips on securing cargo for transport, covering basic principles and regulations along with diagrams, graphs and other visuals for comprehension of weight distribution, gravitational pull, load positioning and correct use of restraints, ATA said.
